Tales from the Trail: Travel Vlog 9/24/2016

October has arrived and found us staying at the Red River Valley Recreation Area (Sherlock Campground) in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.  We are already settled in our new site and beginning the 2016 Beet Harvest out at the O’Meara Pile Station in Euclid, MN (about 15 minutes away).  Our Beet Harvest experience is, in fact, taking place in Minnesota…as opposed to our previous assumption of North Dakota.  We are just outside the state border, though, so I suppose we were geographically semi-right…right?

This 9/24/2016 journal entry, filmed just outside of Bemidji, MN where we were dry camping for a few days before our arrival, reviews our final days at our last work camping job in Mackinaw City, Michigan and tracks our journey to our current destination. Between Labor Day events, end of the season get-togethers, and dispersed camping lulls, it’s hard to believe that so much has happened in such a short stent of time….but it seems like this is our norm with the full-time RV lifestyle, and we really wouldn’t have it any other way!
