Dry Camping and Travel Tips with Levi: Episode 10

In Episode 10, Levi talks about staying overnight at casinos for free.  There’s no risk or gambling necessary (aren’t I punny)!

Not all casinos offer free overnight parking.  We often check using the online service, Allstays.  We search casinos along our route using this app/program. Allstays is our go-to guide for RV travel.  By using Allstays we are able to find places along our route for a pit stop or overnight stay and longer.  Descriptions and (often times) reviews are provided for each location so travelers have a better idea about what is available for their convenience.  Interested in learning more about Allstays? A more thorough tutorial encompassing its many features can be viewed here.

Every casino that allows free overnight stays has their own protocol for RVers.  We typically call the casino in advance to double check their rules and parking availability.  Most casinos we have been to require RVers to register at the front desk so they know who is staying.  Security often drives around at night and the parking lots are generally well lit.  If you are lucky to pass through them, there are some casinos that offer additional amenities (for free) like electricity.  We stayed at one such casino in Minnesota. As a follow-up, for their hospitality, we eat at or do a little gambling at the establishment.
