Workamper Review: Decorators with Christmas Decor in Knoxville, TN

Take note that Levi and I are in no way affiliated with or representing Christmas Decor franchise.  We are simply detailing our workamping experience for those interested.

We really embraced the Christmas spirit with our most recent workamping jobs.  In December we managed a Christmas Tree lot in Memphis and afterwards participated in the take down of Christmas lights and other decorations from local businesses and residents around Knoxville.

This was a job that we learned about from a fellow co-worker while workamping at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in Michigan.  He handed us their business card after chatting about his experience working with the company for multiple seasons in a row.  We pocketed the information for a later date and pulled it out a few years later. We were looking for a little gig and a bit of cash to hold us over until our next job beginning in April.  Since we were employed for the take down portion of the season, the length of employment was a mere month, January.  Decorations are installed as early as the beginning of October and last around mid-December.

We detail our “take down” experience in the video below and share a bit of information about the “set up” process.
